Greetings from Outpost 426!
First of all, thank you so much for your past support for Scorpiana. We have truly enjoyed bringing her adventures to you, and she will return!
Okay, folks. Mark your calendars: Monday, September 25th.
That's the day I'll be launching the debut issue for Scarlet Steel! Set in the same "metaverse" as fellow Outpost 426 characters Scorpiana and Mite, Scarlet is a beautiful, brawling superwoman who can knock out the baddest villain at five o'clock and show up for cocktails at six. Originally appearing in Scorpiana #3, this is her first solo issue.
Of all the characters I've created, Scarlet is by far the closest to my heart. She's appeared in my scripts and stories since the mid-'80s, and I'm thrilled to finally introduce you to her. Her inspirations are obvious, with the biggest being Jean Grey's incarnation of the Phoenix (let's hear it for redheads!) along with Supergirl, Power Girl, and Wonder Woman. I'm a big believer in big, fun, action-packed, sexy comic books, and with this issue, I guarantee you're getting all of that.
The debut issue is 30 pages of ass-kicking goodness, written by me, with lines by the incomparable Leo Matos and scintillating colors by KodiArt96. I think the interior art rivals that of the best indie comics on the market, and I provide plenty of examples. I've also got a plethora of amazing covers by the likes of CB Zane, Steve Scott, Keith Garvey, Courtney Rose, David Lima, Stef Wilson, and Jeff Spokes, among others! Go big or go home, am I right?
To prove what I'm saying, I'm providing everyone with a first-ever exclusive: a pre-launch preview of the project itself! Hey there!
I just wanted to give everyone a quick update regarding upcoming plans here at Outpost 426. First, thank you all so much for supporting Scorpiana and the other projects we produce. We literally couldn't do it without you. Scorpiana will absolutely be back, with issue #5 in the planning stages with a tentative plan to launch her next campaign in December. In related Metaverse news, series artist CB Zane recently finished a campaign for the second issue of his character Mite, so if you didn't know about it and want to inquire about how to get a digital or perhaps even physical copy, you can email him here:

Second, it won't be long until I launch my first solo comic project, Scarlet Steel. She's a sexy, sultry, southern superwoman whose story picks up where Mite's leaves off -- in battle with Horus! Her first appearance was in issue #3 of Scorpiana, and after many, many inquiries about her, she'll finally be flying into your hands. Artists Leo Matos and KodiArt are up to page 12 of a planned 30-page book, and I'll proudly be previewing the beautiful interior art and the cover lineup for you in the very near future. I'm looking to launch it this month, so watch this space for more information!
Finally, I wanted to highlight a current campaign that you all might be interested in. Friend of Outpost 426 Luis Torres is offering a trade paperback compilation for his awesome character Lili the Demoness, and you can check it out here:
With extra content and all sorts of great cover options, you really can't go wrong. I've backed it, and encourage you to consider doing the same!
